Sharf Signs Pledges Against Tax Increases

At the Arapahoe County Men's Club Breakfast, Republican candidate for House District 6, Joshua Sharf, signed both the Americans for Tax Reform pledge, and the Colorado Union of Taxpayers pledge, promising to work against any tax increases for Colorado taxpayers. The signing of the Americans for Tax Reform pledge was witnessed by Colorado Secretary of State, Mike Coffman, who signed the pledge back in February. The signing took place on April 16, "just one day after tax filing day," says Sharf, "while that bitter memory was still fresh in our minds," ironically alluding to a comment recently made by presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Other Colorado officials who have already signed the ATR pledge include U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard (R-Colo.), as well as U.S. Reps. Marilyn Musgrave (R-3rd), Doug Lamborn (R-5th), and Tom Tancredo (R-6th) (Source: Americans for Tax Reform).
