Here's what's been going on: I received a new endorsement from Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, M.D., prominent internist, former U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander, and renowned columnist/commentator on Islamist affairs. As Dr. Jasser's endorsement generously points out, I am a proven strong supporter of patient choice in health care, and of personal freedom in selecting both insurance and medical care. Unfortunately, my opponent is unable to attend, due to a family health emergency, so instead, Republican State Senate candidate Bob Lane will speak.
