Dear Supporters and Friends,
So much has happened since our last newsletter! As you know, thanks to the tireless efforts of our volunteers, we have officially made the ballot, and there will be a primary on August 12. Team Sharf is gearing up for the next step in the campaign.
Now the news:
Dr. Neil Dobro, and his wife Leah will be hosting a fundraiser barbecue at their home Sunday evening, June 22. For those of you in the Denver area, please stop by! I'd love to meet you. RSVP to the Dobros at Neil@SharfColorado.com.
Speaking of Neil, last night, Dr. Dobro spoke quite eloquently on the topic of the Middle East and Israel at the Jewish Republicans of Colorado monthly dinner.
On June 11, I was fortunate to attend the Independence Institute's Candidate Briefing, a day-long series of briefings on issues of state and local importance. They covered education, transportation, taxes, the budget, campaign finance, water, and everything in-between. You can read my impressions of the event here.
On Monday, the Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods held its Candidates' Forum, which was a pleasure to attend. Along with the other four candidates for this office, I had a chance to hold forth on a variety of issues. My post-mortem of the evening is here.
I've also posted my proposals for meaningful, free-market health care reform on the site. These are fresh ideas, free from the statist, big-government proposals being floated here in Colorado and all over the country.
As always, you can stay posted on the latest developments at www.SharfColorado.com, or join my Facebook group, The Republican Choice for House District 6 | |
