Live-Blogging the SOTU

I’ll be live-blogging the SOTU from the South Denver Liberty on the Rocks meeting this evening.  Come join us as we hear the speech, the response, and Ryan Frazier’s impressions afterwards.

3-6-9 Senate Forum

House Districts 3, 6, and 9 held a joint forum for our US Senate candidates.  It was also a chance for the local State House candidates to introduce themselves to the other districts.  Ali Hasan also showed up to plug his campaign for State Treasurer.

Thanks to Wendy Warner and Judy Krall for all their hard work putting the event together, and to Jerry Wheeler and Paul Linton for emceeing it.

Health Care Rally

On Wednesday, I was able to attend a Health Care rally at the state capitol.

It’s critical that we introduce reforms that will increase access, affordability, choice, and quality of care, rather than restrict those.

It would force the Democrats to spend the little time they have left in the majority in Congress taking into account the majority of the country.

Right now, the State Republican Party has put out a call for volunteers to help with the telephone GOTV efforts. If you can help for three hours in the next week, email matt@cologop.org, and they’ll set you up with a call-from-home system.

And let them know that the Sharf Campaign sent you!

Old Business

The last month has been a busy one, as our campaign has developed a strategy for making the most of caucus night, and as I help the County Party reach out to its members and Denver’s voters.
